Terrain - Sandy beaches, deciduous trees and wetlands
Staff - Only at the Gatehouse. Friendly and polite.
Bathrooms - Non-flush vault toilets. In good repair but a bit dirty
Beach - The whole park is one long beach and picnic area. There is 1,200 metres of sandy beach facing Lake Ontario on the left side. Waters drop off gradually on this side but the water is more rough here and usually has wave and you must be cautious of possible undertow conditions on windy days on Lake Ontario. On the other side of the park (the right hand side) there is another 800 metres of sand beach on North Bay. The beach on the right is calmer and without an undertow, however, there is a steep drop off on this side. .
Out Door Water Faucets - none
Hiking Trails - none
Pet Amenities - there is a section of the beach designated for pets
Playground - none
Park Store: - yes North Beach has a small canteen where park souvenirs and traditional fast food and beverages can be purchased. It is located along the park’s main road.
Boat/Canoe Rentals: - none , but a boat launch is located on the north side of the park. It is suitable for small craft only. Personal floatation devices are available for loan at the park (refundable deposit is required).

Directions: From Hwy 401 take Exit 522 onto County Rd 40. Continue for about 5 km. Turn right onto Loyalist Pkwy/County Rd 33. After about 15 km turn right onto County Rd 27. Continue for about 2 km and then turn right again. One more right turn after that and you will be there.
Signs For Directions To Park - Easy to see. You can't miss it.
