Terrain:  Once the site of a popular Victorian resort, this park north of Goderich is perched on a bluff and offers spectacular views of the blue water
and beautiful sunsets of Lake Huron. It features mostly flat trails that wind through open fields and old farm sites, with some areas having
gentle inclines, particularly along the Ravine Trail. The park is known for its ecologically rich environment, including sandy beaches and a
               globally significant Oak Savanna ecosystem.

Staff:  Very friendly and helpful

Bathrooms: Perfectly clean and in great shape. There are 2 comfort stations; one in each of the two campgrounds.

Shower: There are showers at each of the comfort stations. They are clean and run well.

Beach :  One long sandy beach on the shores of Lake Huron, with no life guards. Parts of the shore are covered in a flat, pocked rock formation,
making it interesting to look at.

Out Door Water Faucets - Clean, drinkable water and easy to find throughout the park

Hiking Trails:

Old Farms Trail – 4km (1.5 hours), loop, easy
Take a leisurely walk through areas that were once old farm fields and orchards.

Below the Bluff Trail - 0.5 km (20 minutes) linear, easy
Walk beneath a mixed wood forest while listening to the birds above and waves from nearby Lake Huron.

Ravine Trail - 1 km (30 minutes) linear, moderate
A more challenging hike with rugged terrain and steep inclines that wind along side of a ravine. A stairway to the beach can be accessed at the end of the trail.

Pet Amenities: The dog beach is the whole southern shoreline of the beach. This makes up half of the entire beach.

Playground: There are children's play structures situated right outside both of the comfort stations.

Park Store: The gate house doubles as the park store. There you will find an array of clothing items, souvenirs, toys,  basic camping supplies,
grocery items, snacks, beverages, frozen novelties, firewood and ice.

Rentals:  Although you can canoe on the lake, the park does not offer any rentals of canoes or boats.

Personal Floatation devices (PFDs): Available at the park office, you can borrow a properly fitted PFD.

Extension Cord Loan Service: Extension cords are available with a refundable deposit. Electrical pedestals are at times a distance from
the site and may require cords that are longer than expected.
