Terrain:  Well treed and shady sites. Every site is a stones throw away from the beach..

Staff:   Quiet and polite.

Bathrooms:   Clean and tidy. Average.

Shower:  At the comfort station. Average.

Beach: 3 long sandy beaches that run along the Ottawa River. Beaches have no roped in swimming areas. Since most campsites are along the
edge of the  beaches there are too many people storing their chairs and toys there even when they are not using the beach. Lots of
driftwood on the  beach. Direct public access to the beach is difficult to find in some areas. The better beach is the one down by the boat
              launch.

Outdoor Water Faucets:   well placed and easy to find through out the park

Hiking Trails:    Three hiking trails with multiple loops.

Lookout Trail: 1.3 km linear trail. The lookout is overgrown with trees and is no longer much of a look out. It's more of just a resting
                                                  place with a picnic table.

Oak Highland Trail: This trail has 2 loops. Beaver Pond loop is 2.3 km and the Riverview loop is 1 km. This trail is the best one we
have been on in this park so far. There are interesting things to see and plenty of pretty wild flowers. The look out on
this trail is more of a look out than the one on "Lookout Trail".

Chevier Creek Trail: This trail has 4 loops. Loop 1 is 1.8 km, Loop 2 is 3.7 km, Loop 3 is 1.7 km, and Loop 4 is 2.1 km.

Pet Amenities:  Dogs are allowed in the water at the right of the boat launch only  and are not allowed in beach or swimming areas.

Playground:  none
