Here is a list of all the non-operating parks and crown land that we have visited and a review on each. Since these parks do not have facilities or amenities, I rate them a little differently than I do the regular parks. I base them more on whether there is a place to swim, how accessible it is, if it has any extras (i.e. Did someone make a Boom box or a fire pit for others to use) and just the overall atmosphere.

See our blog to get the details on our visit to the day use parks and why we have rated them the way we have. Depending on what you are looking for in a free campsite, you may or may not agree with my ratings.
