Terrain - Towering stands of White and Red Pine on the shores of Lake Temagami

Staff - Young and friendly with a good sense of humour

Bathrooms - Spotless with no bugs or spiders . They smelled good and they had flush toilets. Exceptionally clean.

Showers - There are showers at each of the 2 comfort stations.

Beach -  There are 2 beaches almost right beside each other. Both beaches are tiny. They are sandy and clean with a bench to sit on, but they are
small and have no picnic area. Not only are the sandy part of the beaches small, but the roped in area of the water is tiny too. It only goes
out  about 5 to 7 feet at most.

Out Door Water Faucets - Clean, drinkable water but the faucets are not all located exactly as shown on the map.

Hiking Trails - There are no hiking trails in this park. (However, there is a popular hiking trail, Caribou Mountain lookout and fire tower, off of Hwy
                         11. Take O’Connor drive off of Hwy 11 at the historic train station, cross the tracks and continue uphill on the paved road to the rightf
for 1 kilometer or so until you see a sign for the Tower. Turn right and take this road to the parking lot. The walk to the tower is on a
loose gravel uphill path but is an easy walk).

Pet Amenities - The pet swimming area is tiny and it is located much too far away from the campsites. You have to drive to get there or go on a
                           long walk.

Playground - There is an open field and one small jungle gym with a slide attached. The field floods when it rains.

Park Store - The store is in the park office. The store features clothing items, souvenirs, maps, ice, firewood, and books. There are no groceries.
Groceries are available in the Town of Temagami, 1 km north of the park on Highway 11.

Boat/Canoe  Rentals - Canoes, kayaks and bicycles are available for rent. The park’s picnic shelter is available to rent for family gatherings, events
and picnics. The shelter is located near the boat launch and boat basin.

Boat Basin - There is a boat basin with docking facilities, along with a boat launch and fish cleaning area. Mooring fees apply when using the
                      docking facilities.

Things To Do At Finlayson Point Provincial Park

- Fishing (Lake Temagami is a popular angling spot for a wide variety of sport fish including Lake Trout, Lake Whitefish, Northern Pike,
